To get started, click on one of the tabs to your left.
A preset with the same name already exists. Do you want to overwrite it?
The canvas is where your cards will live. You’ll be able to add, remove, and rearrange cards on the canvas to suit your needs.
Sometimes, depending on your screen size, you may want to zoom in and out to see more or less cards. You can do this by pressing CTRL + (plus or minus) or CTRL + (scroll up or down).
To give yourself more room without zooming in and out, you can also try making your browser window fullscreen. You can do this by pressing the fullscreen button on the top right of the canvas. Press it again to exit fullscreen.
To the left of the canvas you’ll see tabs. These tabs are where you’ll add individual cards or work with presets and customization. To open a tab’s menu, click the tab you’d like to open. To close it, click the open tab again.
Sometimes you’ll want to remove all of the cards on the canvas. To clear the canvas, click the trash button located in the top-right of the canvas.
You can also see the preset that was last used in the top right of the canvas. When you modify the cards on the canvas in any way, an asterisk ( * ) will appear in front of the preset name to show that it has been modified. To clear this, you can save the current configuration as a custom preset or load any preset.
Cards contain all the information for a certain animal. Here you’ll find attributes like class, max difficulty, weight, trophy ratings, etc.
To add cards to the canvas you can use All Animals, Reserve Presets, or Custom Presets. There you will be able to add individual animals or load in a preset.
To remove cards from the canvas you can hover over the card you want to remove. Click the “x” that should have appeared in the top right corner.
To rearrange the cards on the canvas, click and drag the card onto another card you wish to place it in front of.
The attributes on a card can be changed by going to Customize Cards. Here you will be able to add or remove attributes from your cards.
Cards also contain animal variant/fur-type and need-zone information. Click on the bottom half of the card to toggle through viewing attributes, variant, and need-zone information.
You can change the info you are viewing on all cards by using the buttons below the trash and fullscreen buttons at the top right of the canvas.
Since need-zone times can differ based on reserve, you can cycle through an animal's reserves by clicking the forward and back arrows to either side of the reserve name appearing at the bottom of a card's need-zone info.
All cards will display a default reserve for each animal unless they were created using a reserve preset, in which case that reserve's need-zone times will be displayed first.
This tab is where you will be able to find and add an individual animal’s card to your canvas.
To add an animal’s card to your canvas, find it within the list of animals and click its button.
You can search for a specific animal by using the search bar above the list of animals. Just type in the name or part of the name and results will dynamically appear as you type.
You can also filter animals by class and category. To open the filter menu, click the filters button to the left of the search bar. To toggle a filter on, click its button. It will be orange if active. Finally, to change the value of the filter, use the drop down menu to select the value you wish to filter by.
This tab is where you can automatically add all of the animals in a reserve to your canvas.
To add a reserve’s animals to your canvas, search for the reserve in the list and then click its button. This will delete all other cards on the canvas before adding every animal in that reserve.
This tab is where you can create and manage custom presets. These presets will save to your browser.
To create a custom preset, first add/remove/rearrange all the cards you want on the canvas. You cannot create a preset that contains an empty canvas. Then type in a name for your preset in the text field beside the plus sign button. The name must be a valid file name. Finally, press the plus sign button beside the name you just entered and a custom preset will be created.
If you try to create a custom preset with the same name as an already existing preset, a popup will appear asking you if you wish to overwrite the old preset. Clicking yes will overwrite the old preset and clicking no will avoid overwriting it and stop creating the preset.
To delete a preset, look for the preset you want to delete amongst your existing presets. Then click the green minus button to the right of that preset. This will permanently delete the preset.
To use a preset after it’s been created, look for the preset you wish to use in the list and then click its button.
This tab is where you can customize the attributes that appear on your cards. Your customization will be saved to your browser.
To activate an attribute, click on the attribute in the list of inactive attributes. This will move it to the active attributes list. The attributes will appear on the cards in the same order that they appear in this list.
To deactivate an attribute, click on the attribute in the list of active attributes. This will move it to the inactive attributes list.
If you had cards on your canvas as you were making changes to your active attributes, you need to click the apply changes button beneath the inactive attributes for those cards to be updated. However, any newly added cards will already reflect your changes.
Hello, my ign is ThatOneCubanDude and I'm a third-year computer science student. I got the idea for this website one night when I was playing COTW hunting for waterfowl on Revontuli Coast and I was struggling to remember trophy ratings for all of the ducks. So I decided to create an easy reference tool for all animals in COTW.
This is my first ever website! I had to learn a lot of new things to make my idea come to life but here it is. I expect there to be some issues so if you encounter any, please feel free to email me with as many details about the bug as possible.
If you'd like to keep up with development and future updates to the website, consider visiting my Patreon. All posts are free for everyone to see but you can choose to subscribe if you want to help support me. The money would be going towards hosting the website and paying for my degree.
